Virtual Discussion on Election Monitoring and Child Protection

February 11, 2026. CZOP organized a nationwide virtual discussion on “Child Protection and Effective Monitoring during Elections,” with participation from more than 107 stakeholders.

Participants included representatives from the National Child Rights Council, government agencies, civil society organizations, child rights networks, and development partners.

The discussion focused on strengthening monitoring and observation mechanisms to identify and respond to child rights violations during elections. CZOP emphasized coordinated efforts among stakeholders to ensure effective reporting and accountability.
