Advocacy Program in Dhankuta Emphasizes Child Protection

February 28, 2026. CZOP, in collaboration with HUSADEC Nepal, organized an interaction program in Dhankuta focusing on protecting children and schools during elections.

The program emphasized that children and schools are zones of peace and should not be involved in political activities. CZOP Board Member Gita Adhikari highlighted the need to ensure safe learning environments.

Representatives from HUSADEC Nepal, Nepal Journalists Federation, and other stakeholders participated. The program called for cooperation among local governments, political parties, and communities to safeguard child rights and maintain child-friendly environments.
