January 25–31, 2026 As part of its election-focused advocacy, CZOP conducted a series of meetings with major political parties to advocate for the inclusion of children’s issues in their manifestos for the House of Representatives Election, 2082.
In-person meetings were held with senior leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Nepal Communist Party, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Janamat Party, Ujjawal Party Nepal, and Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party. CZOP presented key recommendations focusing on child protection, education, ending child marriage, and preventing the use of children in political activities.

In addition, formal recommendation letters were emailed to all political parties registered with the Election Commission as of January 25, 2026. CZOP continues to engage with additional political parties based on their availability to ensure a broad commitment to child rights.
