CZOP Participates in the 17th Human Rights National Magna Meet 2025

Lalitpur, 8 December 2025 — On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the 17th Human Rights National Magna Meet 2025 officially commenced today at Staff College, Lalitpur.

The President of Children as Zones of Peace (CZOP) National Campaign, Mr. Tilottam Paudel, along with representatives from several CZOP member organizations, actively participated in the inauguration ceremony. Their presence reaffirmed CZOP’s continued commitment to the promotion and protection of human rights, particularly the rights of children and marginalized communities.

This year’s Magna Meet has brought together 120 human rights organizations from across the country, united under a shared mission to safeguard human dignity, justice, inclusion, and equality for all. The platform serves as an important space for dialogue, reflection, and collective action on pressing human rights issues in Nepal.

The Magna Meet Week will run from 8 to 14 December 2025, featuring discussions, interactions, and advocacy initiatives aimed at strengthening the human rights movement nationwide.

CZOP stands in solidarity with human rights defenders and organizations across Nepal and reiterates its commitment to advancing human rights, equality, and transformative change, ensuring a just and peaceful society where the rights of every child are respected and protected.
