Hetauda, Bagmati Province | 9 December 2025 — As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a discussion program on increasing violence against women and strategies for its minimization was successfully held on Mangsir 23, 2082 (December 9 2025) in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati Province.

The program brought together key stakeholders who engaged in in-depth discussions on the prevailing challenges related to violence against women. Participants highlighted practical and policy-level approaches to minimize such violence, emphasizing prevention mechanisms, awareness at the community level, access to justice, survivor-centered services, and institutional coordination.
The event was jointly organized by Children as Zones of Peace (CZOP) National Campaign, INSEC,NGO Federation Nepal and others organization. The organizing organizations underscored the importance of collective efforts, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and rights-based approaches to effectively address gender-based violence.
The discussion concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening advocacy, coordination, and community engagement to promote gender equality, human rights, and a safer society for women and girls.
