Discussion on Role of Parliamentary Forum on Child Rights Held in Gandaki Province

Pokhara, August 14 – A discussion program on the role of the Parliamentary Forum on Child Rights in Gandaki Province was successfully organized today in Pokhara. The event was chaired by Hon. Mahesh Bhattarai, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Forum in Gandaki Province, and was attended by several members of the Gandaki Province Assembly.

This program is part of a broader initiative Coordinated by CZOP along with the Save the Children, GSIF, OVN & CWIS. CZOP has already facilitated similar discussions with provincial assembly members in all seven provinces and at the federal level. The aim is to strengthen the role of parliamentarians in promoting and protecting child rights through active engagement and policy advocacy.
