Child Advisory Committee

January 7–9, 2026. CZOP actively participated in the Urban Boot Camp on Public Open Spaces in Child-Friendly Cities, organized by UNIPOS and Save the Children. CZOP Child Advisory Committee member Ms. Krishangi Aryal, along with the CZOP team, represented the campaign in the program.

CZOP contributed to discussions on creating inclusive, safe, and accessible public spaces for children in urban settings. On January 9, CZOP presented its abstract titled “Inclusive Open Spaces, Happy Spaces,” highlighting the importance of child participation in urban planning and design.

Hetauda, Makwanpur,Bagmati

Krishangi Aryal is the Vice President of the Hetauda Nagar Bal Sanjal. She is currently studying in Class 11 and has participated in various child-related events and programs. Her involvement includes skills enhancement training, awareness programs on drug abuse, child-friendly local governance, and workshops on children’s participation in planning. She has also been active in programs aimed at ending child marriage.

Sindhuli, Bagmati

Shrijana Blon is the Coordinator of the Child Advisory Committee at Nepal Good Wev Foundation. She is enthusiastic about children’s issues and is a strong advocate for children’s rights.

Ramechhap, Bagmati

Sunita is a member of the Sagarmatha Child Club and is currently studying in Class 10. She has received training in life skills, child club member skills enhancement, and child rights. Sunita is dedicated to raising awareness about children’s issues and is adept at teaching and learning from others.

Devchuli-9, Nawalpur, Gandaki

Pritam is the President of Jagriti Child Club Nepal and is currently studying in Class 10. He has participated in various training programs, including skills enhancement for child clubs, drug abuse prevention, online safety, and public speaking. Pritam aims to contribute to society by advocating for children’s rights.

Badimalika Municipality-8, Bajura

Dinesh is the President of the Bal Mandir Bal Club in Badimalika Municipality-08, Bajura. He is currently studying in Class 8. Dinesh has been involved in programs addressing gender discrimination, violence, and self-defense. He aims to raise awareness about children’s issues in Bajura.

Naraharinath-09, Kalikot, Karnali

Mahendra is a member of the municipality-level child club in Naraharinath Rural Municipality and currently serves as its Vice President. He has participated in various training programs, including child club skills enhancement, and initiatives focused on ending child marriage and minimizing forced marriages.

Palpa, Lumbini

Jenisha is the current Secretary of Saraswati Child Club in Nisdi-05, Palpa. She has received training related to child rights, child-friendly governance, adolescent health, and child marriage prevention. Jenisha is committed to addressing child issues and raising awareness about them.

Pokhara, Kaski, Gandaki

Originally from Dailekh, Minraj now lives and studies in Pokhara at Amarsinga Secondary School. He is a member of the Pokhara Metropolitan Child Forum and works for the rights of individuals with disabilities. Minraj has previously participated in skills enhancement training for children.

Melamchi, Sindhupalchok, Bagmati

Himani is a member of the Chirayu Child Club and the ward-level child club in Melamchi-02. She has participated in various programs related to child rights, development, and involvement. Himani is also a current member of the Child Advisory Committee for Childs Nepal.

Birgunj-17, Parsa, Madhesh

Abdul has been a member of the Dwardevi Child Club since 2080 BS. He is studying at Dwardevi Secondary School in Birgunj. Abdul has participated in various programs, including child club skills enhancement training and leadership development. His goal is to raise awareness about child issues, such as child marriage, in the community.

Itahari 14, Sunsari, Koshi

Dipika Chaudhary is currently studying in Class 10 at Parbati Secondary School, Itahari. She is an active member of the Paribartanshil Bal Club and also participates in the ward-level child network. Dipika has received training on cybercrime, child club procedures, and child rights documentation.
